Five good reasons for employers to get their teams signed up
Flexibility - You may want your staff to have different kinds of IT skills, depending on the jobs they do. Maybe you need someone to have a high level of word processing skills and a reasonable knowledge of spreadsheets, but only a basic knowledge of databases. With ITQs, you can make this happen.
Good value - You’re only paying for the training you want or need. Our trainers and assessors will work directly with you to draw up the programmes for individual members of staff, make the projects interesting and relevant to the workplace and assess skills as efficiently as possible.
No wasteful duplication - If members of staff already have some IT qualifications, these can count towards their ITQ. They can build and develop new skills to meet your needs without the de-motivating prospect of starting again or proving afresh they’ve got skills they might use everyday.
Specialist software - Staff may need to be trained on software that is unique to their business, perhaps a special scheduling or buying system. Bespoke units can be created to cover this. Just tell us what you would like and we’ll do the rest.
Easy to assess - Many employers told us they were put off NVQs because they found the assessment bureaucratic and burdensome. We have worked hard to cut red tape and permit as much on-the-job assessment as possible.
‘We’d just bought a new IT system but I wasn’t confident that staff knew how to use all the programs. So it made sense to enrol everyone, including me!’
