ITQ, making IT work for you

How much will it cost me

IT user training need not be expensive. Several training routes are free, especially at beginner level, or may be eligible for funding which could cover part or all of the cost of training.

Through the Government’s new Train to Gain scheme, companies can access:

  • A free Skills Brokerage service to identify and source any training they need at all levels
  • Fully subsidised training, delivered at a time and place to suit the employer for low skilled workers without five or more good GCSEs (a first full ‘level 2’ qualification)
  • Free information, advice and guidance for employees, accessible through the workplace
  • A contribution in wage costs may be available for companies with fewer than 50 employees to compensate them for the time their workforce spend in training
