Where in your business are technology skills needed?
Is ITQ going to be mandatory or optional for your staff? If you haven’t thought about this yet, what are the pros and cons of each approach, both for learners and the organisation itself? Many companies choose to pilot ITQ first in one office or department, or introduce it as part of an induction process for new staff.
Be realistic. If workers are learning at work then they will need time out from work to learn and practise. They will also need time for assessment with their ITQ assessors. The organisation should expect some reduced capacity in relation to their ‘day jobs' and this must be sanctioned and endorsed by management and communicated to everyone, including those not on the programme.
